TANYA DOAN ART
Tanya Doan creates playful visual art through painting, punch needle, collage, digital illustration, and photography. She often has her original motif of apathetic sheep wandering through her artwork, mingling with abstract bits.Regardless of medium, there are recurring elements of minimalism, abstraction, and a touch of surrealism in her various works.Tanya’s journey is as diverse as her art. Born in Montreal to Vietnamese immigrant parents, she spent her childhood in Ohio and Texas before settling in Southern California at the age of 12. After graduating from university, Tanya spent over a decade in NYC working as a photo editor. Since 2018, she has been based in Berlin, where she continues to explore and expand her artistic horizons.
